This midcentury-modern-inspired backyard provides shade, privacy, and a haven for songbirds. In the front yard, a rain garden and cistern collect stormwater runoff.

The first step in the design, the concept plan maps anchoring features of the landscape, including hardscape, structures, trees, beds and planting zones, paths, and destinations.
